Back in 2012, I started showing up to networking events around Atlanta with a simple goal: meet good people and make friends. That's me in the middle in my younger man days.
Throughout the years of networking I made lifelong friends and excellent business connections. But I also discovered that not every "networking event" was actually about networking. Some were parties with a hookah atmosphere, others turned into long sales pitches, and a few had me wondering why I even showed up in the first place.
After years of bouncing around the city and learning which rooms were actually worth being in, I realized a lot of professionals were dealing with the same problem. And I realized that this city is all about who you know and who knows you.
So I got a little bored — and built something about it. I created Networking Only Atlanta, a platform that helps professionals across the Greater Atlanta area discover real networking opportunities without the guesswork.
Now the goal is simple: help people skip the headaches, save time, and walk into rooms where meaningful conversations and real connections actually happen.
Because sometimes you're only one conversation away from the opportunity that changes everything.
